Seido (Ray Ronci) is a monk of the Rinzai Zen sect and the director of the Hokoku-An Zen Center in Columbia, Missouri. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri where he teaches mythology, literature and writing. His poems have appeared in Ploughshares, Prairie Schooner, Iowa Review, Greensboro Review, Agni, Rattle and elsewhere. He has won an AWP "Intro" Award, an Academy of American Poets Award and the John H. Vreeland Award for Literary Composition from the University of Nebraska. |
